Senior IT Business Analyst – Compliance & Workflow Automation (100%)

For our client, a leading Swiss private bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst – Compliance & Workflow Automation to support a compliance-related IT initiative.

• Analyse and evaluate options for automating compliance-related IT workflows.
• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements in collaboration with the relevant Framework Owner.
• Support the design and conceptualisation of an automated workflow solution for the Global CoI Register.
• Ensure that proposed solutions address relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Act as the interface between business stakeholders, compliance functions and technical teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities.

The primary focus of this assignment is to explore and evaluate options for designing an automated IT workflow solution for the Global Conflict of Interest (CoI) Register, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, compliance teams and IT specialists to gather requirements and translate business needs into feasible technical solutions.

• Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer.
• Strong background in business analysis, requirements engineering and business process analysis.
• Good understanding of compliance-related processes and technical IT workflows.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements in collaboration with different stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.

Nive to have:

• Experience with Flowable and/or ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of BPMN, workflow management or business process automation.
• Previous experience in banking, financial services or another regulated industry.
• Experience working on compliance-related IT initiatives.
