IMCD Switzerland, a subsidiary of the IMCD Group, employs a workforce of 65 employees at its headquarters in Zurich and at an additional location in Basel.
For the IT department at the location in Zurich we are looking for an immediately or by arrangement:
Student IT Support (f/m/d) 20%
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Support the local IT team in day-to-day IT operations across the IMCD offices in Zurich and Basel
- Handle, analyse and process IT incidents and service requests from employees
- Assist colleagues with hardware, software, client system, peripheral and standard application issues
- Support the preparation, setup and handover of workplaces for new and existing employees
- Support the technical preparation and execution of IT onboarding for new employees
- Document standard processes, system information, configuration changes and troubleshooting guides
- Support the management of the local IT stock, including replacement devices, accessories and other IT equipment
Your competencies and qualities:
- Ongoing studies in Business, IT or a comparable field of study
- Interest in IT support, digital tools and workplace technology
- Good understanding of client systems, standard software, hardware and peripheral devices
- Hands-on mentality with strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Structured and reliable working style, especially when maintaining documentation, inventory and asset data
- Proactive team player with good communication skills and the ability to support colleagues from different business areas
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Confident in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft 365, ticketing systems or basic IT administration is a plus
