As the premier supplier to our client based in Switzerland, Swisslinx is looking for a highly motivated individual to take on a challenging role as a Disaster Recovery / Information Security Analyst for at least 12-months contract, extension likely.

Job description:
- Define and maintain the Disaster Recovery / Service Continuity (SC) related security standards, toolkits and supporting control requirements, ensuring their relevance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business and IT service owners, related teams and team leaders, helping them understand and meet the DR control requirements.
- Support the training programme to bring security knowledge to different audiences – ranging from end-users through to IT specialists, particularly in crisis simulation exercises.
- Conduct security assessments and reviews, helping bring an application security, resilience and risk-based focus.
- Help manage the training programme and seek enhancements to bring security knowledge to different audiences – ranging from end-users through to IT specialists.
- Be part of the security team, and sharing operational security tasks, e.g., user breach alert notifications, conducting password quality checks, supporting legal request processes etc.
- Support our security assessments and reviews, helping bring an application security, resilience and risk-based focus.
- Stay current with information security trends and industry best practices, particularly related to disaster recovery, service continuity, and risk management
About the customer:
The Disaster Recovery (DR) / Information Security Analyst will be responsible for helping define the clientßs global DR control requirements and the implementation and management of associated DR plans for IT services.
Requirements:
- We are NOT looking for someone who has 10+years experience but a candidate who has 2-4 years’ experience in building and managing Disaster Recovery / Service Continuity in medium to large / enterprise organisations. Most likely this suits someone moving into their second or third job having collected relevant initial career experience post education.
- Strong understanding of information security principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with developing and managing security training content, working with partners or training products to create modern content.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral), with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
- Familiarity with scripting, tooling to assist with automation or broader analytical tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, EDRP) are a plus.
- Working knowledge of related regulatory and compliance requirements or public standards (e.g. ISO27001, ISO22301, GDPR
